Storm rolled through tonight

Well, the heat wave finally broke due to a huge storm rolling through the city. I went out on the terrace and grabbed these shots. It took almost 100 shots to get these three, but I think it was worth it. Special thanks to Ray, my other half, for pulling me away from my computer to check out the light show.

New gallery show

I'm pleased to announce that I'm going to be participating in a group show at the LGBT Community Center at 208 W 13th Street. The opening is June 12th from 6 to 8PM, and the show is up till August 21st. Here's one of the images that will be exhibited. To see samples of other work being shown, head over to nycphotoclub.com.

Dancing at the Crossroads

I'm thrilled to add Dancers Responding to AIDS as a client and have the opportunity to photograph this years performance of Dancing at the Crossroads in Times Square. Twenty one dance troupes performed in the midst of a heat wave and were brilliant. Dancers Responding to AIDS is a program of Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, and if you'd like to donate to them, head over to their site at http://www.dradance.org.

I love taking pictures of bodies in movement, whether it's my professional dance clients, or wedding guests rocking out on the dance floor.

After a quick initial review of the more than 1500 shots, here are a few of my favorites so far.
